At Oleana we live for Norwegian production. It’s actually our core idea and why we exist. For us it’s important that the Norwegian textile industry both remains and evolves. We love to collaborate with likeminded people. Doing so, we gain more knowledge, as well as putting Norwegian design on the agenda.

The Norlender factory is located only a short boat trip away from Oleana, in Hosanger at Osterøy. This is a family-run knitwear factory with roots dated almost a 100 years back. This experience makes the Tveiten family experts on locally produced Norwegian wool.

As the starting point of the AW21 collection was making, and making itself we reach out to makers around us. This past strange year, it has felt more important than ever, with almost everything else in flux due to the pandemic. Together with Norlender we gained forces.

With focus on local supplies we made two jackets. These jackets has references to old-school Norwegian knits that portrays a playful and contemporary twist. The Flux Jacket knitted in 100% Norwegian wool. This chunky knit can be worn as an outer garment as well as indoors on a chilly day. The Mixed Media Jacket is where Oleana’s playfulness meets Norlenders distinctive local wool look. Both forever keepers in your wardrobe.
